This is a diagram for a new Madison Square Garden. I've heard that they might build a new Garden in the next few years, so here is my idea. The new Garden would seat 22,000 for hockey and 23,000 for basketball, making it one of the larger arenas in America. It would have 3 levels; the upper balconies would be highest at midcourt/center ice, and taper at the ends, which is good. There would be 104 luxury boxes, and the red seats along the sides would be the club seating on the second level, for about 1,800. For smaller events and concerts, the upper balconies could be closed, and the arena would seat about 15,000. I hope you like it.
