I wanted to try a college basketball arena, but I couldn't really think of too many colleges that could use a new arena. Northwestern University in Evanston came to mind. Northwestern has the smallest arena in the Big Ten; and I know their team isn't usually very good, but that could change some day. Northewestern is everybody's second favorite team in the Big Ten; everyone likes Northwestern. So here is my new Fieldhouse for the Wildcats. The fieldhouse would seat about 13,000. There would be retractable wood student bleachers nearest the floor (yellow) that seat about 2,500. The main level would seat about 7,000. The purple rows along the sidelines would be chairs and the grey rows on the ends bleachers. The balconies would hold about 3,000, and the 28 suites about 500. The scoreboards would be on each end, and I think this seating arrangement sets it up to look like an older style fieldhouse, which would be cool.
