Tottenham could be set to make a move for former Chelsea midfielder Sam Dalla Bona. The player who left Stamford Bridge five years ago to join Italian giants AC Milan has since joined Napoli but new Spurs boss, Juande Ramos, is said to be very keen on bringing him back to London. The player is currently playing for Italian side Napoli.He is said to be open to a move back to England and Spurs look like his most likely destination. The 26-year old made fifty five appearances for the Blues and was sold for £1 million to AC in July 2002. He had been out on loan at several Italian clubs throughout his spell at AC including Bologna, Lecce and Sampdoria.
I remember watching Dalla Bona at Chelsea and I always thought to myself that he had the potential to be a terrific player. He was always very frustrating, not really producing that bit of quality to make him stand out from any other player. I hope that he has improved whilst being in Italy these last few years because I think he would be a great asset to Spurs if he has.
