According to reported in today's Daily Mirror, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is supposedly keen on making a bid for Newcastle left sided player Charles N'Zogbia.These reports come after Newcastle's impressive 1-1 draw with the league leaders last night a game in which N'Zogbia impressed.
N'Zogbia had been linked with a move to the Gunners during the summer but for some reason or another nothing materialised.
N'Zogbia has been a shining light in a some what average Newcastle side this season thus, leading to these rumours of a possible move to the Londoners.
There is no doubt N'Zogbia has done well this season, but could he perform at the very highest level with Arsenal? I'm undecided. In my view, if Arsenal are to strenghten any position in the January transfer window it should be a left midfielder and they could probably do a lot worse than N'Zogbia.
