Valencia striker David Villa is supposedly set to turn down moves to Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs this Summer so that he can link up with Arsenal, according to reports in The Sun today.The Valenica number 7 has a superb record in La Liga, managing 51 goals in 95 appearances for the Spanish outfit. He has been linked with all of the top four teams and Spurs in the past year or so and it is thought that he will make a move to the Premier League sooner rather than later in his career.
It is likely that he will cost any of his admirers up to £30 million, an offer which Valencia should find to tempting to turn down. At the moment, it looks like Arsenal are favorites to sign the 26 year old but don't rule the others out just yet.
