This is a second plan I've created for a new Pittsburgh Penguins Arena. It is a bit more conventional looking than the first arena I drew. I'm not so great at drawing the exterior facade as I am an the interior plans, but it turned out OK. It has steel and glass octagonal arches, kind of like at the football and baseball stadiums, and some sloped landscaping that I wasn't too detailed with.
The arena itself would have a capacity of 17,850, with total dimensions of 430 ft in length, 325 feet in width, and 117 feet from roof peak to ice level (Building would be dug into the ground some, arena would be 98 feet tall from street level). 8,800 seats would be in the lower bowl, in 24 rows around the rink. On the main concourse, 48 suites would be behind the lower seating bowl. The second level would be a club level, with 4 rows of 1,450 total club seats and 46 suites, for a total of 94 suites on two levels. The third level would be the balcony, which would be split, with 7 rows around the rink, and 6 more rows above those except on the ends. The total capacity would be 5,700 in the balcony. Then two restaurant/bars would be in the blue areas in the balcony, with a capacity of 400 more.

I hope you like it. I also hope the Penguins stay in Pittsburgh, they are an "original 12" team if you will.
