Birmingham City are tracking Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher and Tottenham defender Antony Gardner.Both players have had a lack of first team football this season and both are said to be growing increasingly frustrated at their respective clubs.
Fletcher has made over 100 appearances at United but with several players ahead of him in the pecking order for a central midfield spot he may be tempted to join Alex McLeish's side.
Gardner has also made 100 appearances at Spurs but he too has several players ahead of him in the pecking order for a central defence spot and has been linked with several moves away from the club.
I feel both of these rumours may become reality before the closing of the transfer window on the 31st of January. I feel it is the right time for both players to move on and get on with their careers.
