Newcastle have this evening sacked manager Sam Allardyce after an average start to the new season.The Magpies currently lie 11th in the league but with only 26 points on the board Allardyce has paid the price.
Speculation is already mounting as to Big Sam's successor with names like Alan Shearer have already been linked with the job.
