According to various English papers today, Tottenham are planning to make a bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Maniche.The player is said to be on the verge of leaving Atletico after he fell out of favour with the manager, Javier Aguirre.
Maniche has of course played in the Premier League before, with London rivals Chelsea and he is said to be keen on a move back to England.
Spurs boss Juande Ramos sees Maniche as a key man to bolster the Spurs midfield, but in own view, I feel Tottenham already have enough in Maniche's department and should look elsewhere in the side to improve on.
