According to various papers today, Liverpool and United are interested in signing AC Milan striker Ronaldo.Milan are about to release the Brazilian striker and rumour has it that both United and Liverpool are interested in signing the player as a free agent.
Ronaldo joined AC back in 2007 after leaving Real Madrid, where he scored over 80 goals in in just under 130 games for the club.
Ronaldo has been ravaged by injuries in recent months and has hardly played. AC are reluctant to offer the 31-year old a new contract due to Ronaldo's continuing fitness issues.
I have to say it would be a big surprise to see either of these clubs sign Ronaldo. Ronaldo was a terrific player a few years back but unfortunately for him, it hasn't work out over the last few months.
